Just a reminder - OmahaBMX's Double Points Race For Life is just two weeks away. We will be holding our annual Race For Life to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America. Be sure to pick up your donation collection envelope at OmahaBMX registration on race night and start collection now!

IT’S HERE, IT’S HERE…..WHAT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR…..THE LINE-UP FOR THE PARADE!!!!!
We are Block I on 15th ST between Jackson and Jones
Next is the FUN part…guidelines
- Be in our assigned spot no later than 9:00AM
- Make sure to check in with near the Track truck (it should be easy to see)
- We are going to hand things out, we must make sure that it is HANDED out (no throwing of candy will be accepted)
- Porta Potties are located at 15th and Jackson and 15th and Jones
- Stay in the order assigned
- Enter our spots through 15th and Leavenworth (there will be a designated path)
- Exit through 14th directly after the parade (make sure you KEEP MOVING – last year they had a problem at the end)
- HAVE FUN!!!!!!
That’s what it’s all about – HAVING FUN!
The Parade will begin promptly at 10:00AM so make sure you are in your spot by 9:30AM.

OmahaBMX athletes and parents will be riding, walking and driving in Omaha's St. Patrick's Day Parade this year. The parade is will be held on Saturday, March 14th. We want as many riders and parents in the parade as possible. Details on where and when to meet before the parade will be coming soon - after we have been assigned a place in the parade.

The 2009 season will start in a few short weeks, and there is a lot of work to be done to get ready. We need everyone's help and participating to get the season started right. Please plan on attending this meeing on Sunday, March 15th at 1 PM. Location is still the Livestock Building at 4920 South 30th Street, which is just south of L Street, in Omaha. Park on the South side of the building (the Metro Community College side) and come in the South door.
We will be continuing our discussion on getting started for the 2009 season, the track rebuild and forming a 'master plan' for improvements at the track.
