The big event is here!!  Friday Sept 10th – 12th Omaha BMX will be hosting the Nebraska State Championship race!  It will kick off Friday night with a double point race. Sign ups will be from 6-7pm.  Saturday night the action will continue with another double point race. Sign ups 6-7pm.  Then SUNDAY…SUNDAY…SUNDAY!!!! The big event, a triple point race, who will be crowned state champ for each age group! Sign ups will be from 10-11 am.  Friday Night we will have free root beer floats (while supplies last).  We will also have pizza on hand for Friday and Saturday night! Hotdogs all day Sunday!!

we are heading out to the track tonight to pull off the tarps and check the damage from the rains. If you would like to come out and help we will be there around 6:30 ish…

Ok folks the easy part is done, next comes the hard part..manual labor. Work schedule for this week is…Mon, Wed, Thu – 6 to 8ish PM. Lights won’t be turned on so we won’t work much later than 8pm. Also next Saturday from 3-8pm is being scheduled, this might change so keep posted for Saturdays updates. Please bring any racks, shovels, etc. that you might have..

The rebuild is scheduled to stat  this Friday. During that time track will be closed until the rebuild is finished.  We will need as much help as we can get afterwards to get things in race condition.  Our Grand re-opening race is scheduled for Friday Sept. 3rd.   There is a small chance we could race on Friday Aug 27th, but it will greatly depend on the track conditions and an announcement wouldn’t come until late Thursday.  So if you will have a few spare hours that week to help out it would greatly be appreciated.  We will post the times we will be out there working on the track, also during that time the pedestrian gates will be locked until the track is ready.  Thanks everyone!

Next week we will not be racing cause the track rebuild will be going on.  Racing will resume on Friday Sept. 3rd (sign-ups will be from 6-7 pm until the end of the seaon.) It will be a $5 ribbon race and free Root Beer floats for our Grand Re-Opening!

Scheduled practice is cancelled for tonight, but feel free to head out and ride, we just won’t have gates going..
